Children's Ministry Development Program
Welcome to the Children’s Ministry Development Program. This program is designed to help every Children’s Ministry volunteer, teacher, assistant, and leader serve with confidence, safety, and a clear understanding of our ministry expectations.
Before beginning the Development Program, your first step is to review the Children’s Ministry Onboarding Guide and sign the Children’s Ministry Expectations and Agreement provided by the Children’s Ministry Leader or Executive Pastor. You should also review the link provided for the Children’s Ministry Manual, which explains the policies, procedures, and expectations for serving with children.
Before you begin serving, you must complete the Child Protection & Safety Class. This is an important requirement for protecting the children, families, volunteers, and workers in our care. After completing the onboarding steps and safety class, your next step is to begin Children’s Ministry Development – Phase 1 by clicking the button below.

Child Protection & Safety Training
The Child Protection & Safety Training is an important first step for every Children’s Ministry worker at Iglesia de Amor. This training helps assistants, teachers, and volunteers understand how to protect children, follow safety procedures, maintain appropriate boundaries, respond to emergencies, and serve families with wisdom and care. Before serving in the classroom, each worker should complete this training and understand that child safety must always come before convenience, personal preference, or rushing through ministry responsibilities.
Before beginning the Children’s Ministry Development Program, each worker must first complete the Child Protection & Safety Training. You will begin by watching the training video, then carefully read through the Child Protection & Safety Training materials. After reviewing the materials, you will complete the safety quiz. Once the video, reading, and quiz are complete, you may proceed to the Children’s Ministry Development Program.
Development Program- Discipleship Phase 1
Once you have completed the Child Protection & Safety Training, you are ready to begin Discipleship Phase 1 of the Children’s Ministry Development Program.
To begin, click the button below for Phase 1. On that page, you will find an introductory video, the training materials, and links to the review questions for each session. As you move through the program, follow along carefully in the training material and complete the session review questions. These questions are designed to help you remember the most important points from each lesson and prepare for the quizzes.
At the appropriate time, you will take a quiz over that section of sessions before continuing forward. Please complete each part in order so that you can build a strong foundation for serving faithfully, safely, and effectively in Children’s Ministry.
